If I'd missed a Euro away back in the day for some reason or other, I'd get the right arse.

I'm not even sure I'd bother with the final these days. The ballot, the arseache, that's before you get to the match itself

Definitely the best way for Bruges.

My only point is ,you don't have to be in the same town or country to watch it on telly... And it'll be cheaper to get to wherever United aren't playing

One of my fav things is watching United when I’m on holiday with the family. Leave them for a couple hours and sink several cold pints watching the reds. Result matters far less when you’re off to the beach after.

I'd booked a week with the family in Corfu in 2007 in case United made the final in Athens.

Lots of poolside TV fun and odd looks cheering Milan on as they beat Liverpool

"Fuck Liverpool" I said to the Austrian bloke asking why I, an Englishman, wasn't cheering them on, he had a good chuckle
