Hammer and GS benefit big from the ability to reaim your attack, while DS is just solid. Guns always feel good but you definitely feel slower than past iterations. I personally hate charge sword and fundamentally do not understand it for no reason.

The biggest losers imo are hunting horn, some monsters just have a relentless attack pattern (due to overall increase in speed of the game) and it makes it difficult to get proper attack+performance usage. IG also suffers from being so...meh? It feels so half baked as a weapon-

with how being airborne works. It's also so close to being a solid all rounder weapon if they added more attacks to the weapon. SNS is always the most meh, I can't even recommend it as a beginner when DS exists and is way funner to use.

Bows are also...meh? they lost the piercing bow attack which was incredibly strong and now have a new shotgun bow attack which feels meh since it's range dependent. More balanced for sure but it definitely feels the changes compared to gun.
