I would think that early adopters are going to generally go for the new first party exclusives and wait for sales on ports of games that have been out for awhile on other platforms. Dunno why the third party's would be surprised by that.

Aren't most third party launch games ports of stuff that's been out on other systems for years, though? If you're the type of person who buys a Switch 2 on launch day, you've probably played those games already elsewhere if they interest you

Local store in austria was sold out on everything switch 2 except 3 copies of mkw, ~4 or 5 copies of street fighter and a whole lot (20?) of potter. So who knows. The marks probably already bought it before
