When in doubt it's good to offer a range of sorts as people have said to help streamline the process.

Like if say item A is the main idea you could say B is the cheaper sketch or concept option, C is the hog wild live it up item

$150-$300 seems like a reasonable range- maybe charge higher for more detailed pieces and less and simple stuff like sketches and uncolored pieces

I think depends on the means of the guy who orders it... like probably 35 for people who can't afford it, 100 if they can... problem is people are dishonest, so you won't know who is rich and who isn't... maybe aim for a middle ground between both ?

I mean realistically, how long do these take you? 5 work hours at 20/hr is reasonably 100$. There's no reason not to treat it like something you should charge by the time it takes you to complete it

Generally I can't really decide on something like that. It's not in my prerogative to decide on the price of something I cant personally quantify. Many different factors can sway what would be a "reasonable" price. As i am not a artist nor have i talked with artists about this.
