While they blame Zelenskyy for the pogroms in Russia they save some time at the end to celebrate that it seems he is not receiving enough aid from the West. “This is an extremely difficult period for Ukraine”, Anpilogov said gleefully, “I want it to last as long as possible!”

In Russian state propaganda’s latest episode of “I Didn’t Do That Thing I Literally Just Did”, Russian officials blamed the pogroms in Makhachkala, Dagestan on Zelenskyy and “Western agencies”. They claimed it was a coordinated effort between Kyiv and the CIA. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Zakharova’s “evidence” for her claim that Zelenskyy planned the pogrom was “the speed” with which he issued a statement. Apparently she doesn’t know about how fast videos from phones are shared & that we saw them well before his statement.

The Kremlin’s official narrative seems to be that Zelenskyy and the U.S. did it to “portray Russia as a country with pogroms” and “antisemitic leadership”. Ok that’s plain silly because everyone knows Russia’s done a great job of doing that on its own for more than a century.
