Breaking: FTC is announcing cases today against two data brokers that are accused of selling people's sensitive data without user consent, including to the US government. Details incoming, but the companies are Gravy Analytics and Mobilewalla, according to a statement on the agency's website.

most people that use their phones use apps, and they dont browse to websites using a browser.
and the trackers are in the apps, so stuff like adblock or ublock wont ever see.
you gotta block at the network level, so you'll want to investigate pi-hole.
I'm with you, pi hole and all, but until we can get ad blocker apps for mobile, the risk prevails.
google downplays it, apple flat out lies about it. you cant trust either org to have your back when it comes to privacy.
you must control your own network traffic.
wireguard to pihole works too, but a bit more advanced. same result tho
That allows adblocking for all devices connected to the network, which is an incredibly helpful thing to do.
