Anything that can result in viewers leaving twitter will have a lower priority or score in the algorithm. It's a pretty shitty way of doing things...

That's also why you see so much engagement farming in the for you page.

More than shadow banning, it restricted specifically posts with links and/or less used tags.
The thing is that my whole account was affected, posts weren't appearing in ppl's For You tab unless they were following me already.

This really sucks. As someone who's getting into writing, this means that whenever I post a link to a story or a new chapter (which obviously can't be in X! I have to use a link!) the algo will just immediately murder me.

Detecting links/written stuff in pics when a standard font is used is pretty easy for 2 decades already.
But shouldn't be able to recognize a stylized version where letters are on top of each others or whatever that easy.
You can use Googles reverse image search to test it.
