Since 1980 we’ve been doing tax cuts for nothing. The Dem platform needs to be closing loopholes, returning corporate America to 35% and then tax cuts for something. Tax cuts based on innovations that benefit us. Think climate change and competition for positive results.

"not the lowest, not the janitor" - the janitor works as hard as ANY employee of any employer anywhere, the janitor's work is as vital as the work of any employee of any employer anywhere. That that statement was allowed to just float by in this demonstration it REALLY upsets me to my core.

The janitor comment was not to suggesting they work less hard, but to take the point of comparison from the mode/median income in a given company, so as not to be accused of amplifying the wealth divide by comparing to lowest earners: there's no need to, the disparity is already mind-blowing!
