They HAD Freedom Wars for the longest time and NOW they're whipping it out because PC and Nintendo are about to dip a few toes in the same pool!? You have intellectual property, Sony! Dig deep and use it!
(Freedom Wars was the tightest shit ever on the PS Vita.)
To be fair, I got mine for Odin Sphere, Muramasa Rebirth and God Eater. But when I saw Freedom Wars and played it, I instantly fell in love with the story, the future prison core clothes and the stiff vine mechanics (think of Corrin from Smash except longer reach).
I got those later on (except muramasa, hadn't heard of it till now) but the main draw was FW for me. Game was good, community even better. Still remember the flag collage. Was glad to be part.
-both with their own goals, requiring that they slay monsters and other demons with cursed swords. This game also has dlc side campaigns involving a two tailed cat seeking revenge for her mistress, a farmer 'haunted' by his dead wife, a ninja cursed by a silver snake, and a betrothed oni girl.
I hadn't had much time with the multiplayer, but the single player was pretty dope.
Muramasa is a 2.5d, sidescrolling, hack n slash with some Metroidvania aspects into it. You play as either a cursed swordsman or a possessed princess (The demon in the princess is stuck inside her body)-

I don't like how games fail in general, I'd rather have two good cakes than one good onr bad one.
