I hear ya, and that's a really good point. Speaking up doesn’t always mean we’ll be heard the way we hope, and that can be incredibly frustrating.

But I think the alternative—staying silent—can be even more painful in the long run. If one person doesn’t listen, maybe someone else will. And even if no one does, at least we honor ourselves by expressing what needs to be said.

Your feelings are valid, and you deserve to be heard—without being made out to be the villain. If certain people consistently misunderstand or dismiss them, it’s not your job to keep proving yourself—especially if they’re not even trying to listen.

Hahahah, no worries, my dude. I'm a therapist, and that struggle is just one that a lot of my clients come up against. They often don't have a safe space to have a voice, and it can take a lot of work to help them establish that without a 'villain' coming into the conversation.

I've learned this the hard way recently and it's so hard to stand up I've had to start unloading just to be able to push myself back up on my knees.
