Need to keep saying it
There is no affordable housing being built in the small, affluent, California university city I live in, population 60,000; homeless population now nearing 200 - up 30% over last year.
Stop people buying property to rent for income.
Stop split mortgages scam.
Find better places to put money to provide a good income.
No second homes.
No developer landlords.
After 14 years of the Tories robbing us blind, and doing bugger all else, they're not going to turn all that around and fix everything in a minute. It's going to take years to undo.

It’s a f*cking disgrace.. makes me so angry. I blame Thatcher, god she was horrible.
But capitalism as taken a constricting hold on the UK, and now nothing is ever done unless it makes someone money.
Museums charge. Car parks charge. Universities charge. Etc.
These things should be "free" and paid for by taxing the wealthy.
Put people into houses, start making things better
