I'd be more impressed with Labour if they'd used their massive majority to start equalising the entire UK tax code and stop the serious wealth squirreling loopholes. They could have started with the big low hanging fruit stuff, but didn't. Disappointing doesn't begin to describe it.

You know, I set up a direct debit with them to pay back an underpayment from 2020. They cancelled it, didn’t tell me, and are now complaining it’s not been paid.

The solution is Land Value Tax. Land cannot be shifted offshore. LVT cannot be avoided. Have the rate high enough income tax can be eliminated.
