Even if the U.K. chooses to align itself with a US-post NATO, its current strategy does not make sense. The U.S. desperately needs the U.K. for military and naval bases as well to maintain economic influence. So if Starmer decides to sell out, he should not do it so cheaply but ask for a good price.
