Madison's system says that doesn't matter, that an ordinary election cannot confer the right...
That principle seems to me more important than ever
Can the Constitution endure when the People no longer support it? No, not really. But, then what?
Chances of restoring it? Poor.
Chances the next constitution won't be a shambles? Poor.
So we're plan for something two constitutions down the line, with interregnums (possibly aping the form but not the force of an old one).
I just don't think Ackerman offers an appealing vision of how to do that
In Congress, Senate and in USA.
Trumpists, (Musk/GOP Republicans) want to increase US national dept with 4 Trillion dollars, to provide tax relief to TOP 1 % aka billionaires, multi-millionaires…
