Was thinking about sometime similar the other day... Most countries have rules for snap elections to potentially replace a PM. The US had no similar law for quick replacement of a president.

The most charitable way to look at this is that Fetterman sees how purple PA has gotten and is desperately trying to stay in office by playing to the magas rather than the Democrats who voted for a man who called himself "progressive".

Speaking as a Western Pennsylvanian, this cozying-up of Fetterman to fascists is new. He didn't do this (at least not to my knowledge) while lieutenant governor, nor did he do this while mayor of Braddock (although fascists in Braddock tend to have a short life span).

Elephant in the room: Fetterman had a huge stroke from an intracranial bleed.. No one walks away from that. He was a whacko before and now is a whacko with SIGNIFICANT BRAIN DAMAGE. If DOGE doesn't cancel SSDI, he should be in a rocking chair on the porch collecting his check right now.
