Had a vacation in Mexico planned. Decided it wasn't a good time (as a poc woman) to go. Tried to just tell my mom I'm scared of how volatile immigration policy is now. So so scared. She asked if I was ashamed of her. She's MAGA. I'm not. Then just told me not to even call her... Mother's Day.
