Heard a few minutes of right wing radio today... they were totally pushing the need to cut SS and Medicare to pay off the debt and began a pitch to privatize. Right out of the playbook. We are gonna have to march in the streets, Yeah, again. I'm getting damn old for this, but I'll be out there.

They realise that most of the people who will be affected are probably not registered to vote ie the poorest and sickest and wouldn't vote for them anyway

Shame is, MAGA's that rely on these lifesaving, life sustaining programs will be SHOCKED, SHOCKED when they get smaller checks and reduced benefits. They are going to rely on the non-MAGA's to save their asses by jamming Congress with calls and action.

My thoughts, it’s not Elon Musk alone. Remember, Social Security isn’t part of the debt. They never paid into it, owned by employees who have paid into the system.
