For my husband and myself, our main income source is SS. I'm beginning to feel as if Trump and co-POTUS Musk are trying to kill us. It is one way to decrease the budgetary obligation of SS. It is time for people who make $176,100 or more to pay SS tax. We paid SS tax on every earned dollar.

In 2025?

Current #FICAtaxes pay 96% of current beneficiary monthly benefits for Social Security retirement and Survivor's. The OASDI (Old age, survivors & disability insurance) Trusts pay the rest.

Is there trouble ahead? Yes. But today Social Security PAYS what it owes.
