Re the latest BoV resolution, I think advocates of “open inquiry” under-theorize the appropriate limits of intellectual difference. It’s fine for the School of Architecture to graduate someone who thinks Bauhaus was awesome. It’s not fine to graduate someone who thinks pi =3.
