Ok got it and did a quick sketch, definitely is gonna take some getting used to but it's neat! Definitely better than trying to sketch on the note app lol
That's how it should be :) It's something I'm looking at with some degree of envy ngl, I'm finding myself painting and fixing until something crystallizes even if I do have a plan. Watching your timelapses and taking some cues now, thank you for taking the effort to post em :)

So it allows textures with colours, and you can further control the amount of colour it takes from the texture
So here I abused a 'metal' texture I painted
Further there's various variable traits (hue, saturation etc)
Thank you for going into so much detail
My favorite process (because I'm a lasso junkie) is to set a nice pattern in layers
And then use the lasso brushes
But it think most default brushes are good
1: initial lasso brush, that applies the texture straight, and you can only distort its initial placement
2: normal brushes allow the texture to follow the stroke
Hope that answers some questions, and infinite painter is quite lovely to use
So happy I got a nice cat themed menace
And I've taken a long time to get here, but the more I paint the more those big steps early on gets focal
Instead of trying to fix them later ~
I'll keep mine to the first week if possible, so let's see if I can hit 7
I will do a week for sure, but after I might mix other things in, like a promised up paint someones dog after this
But there will be more knights regardless ^^
And thanks EM π€
(It allows for textures that not only provides alpha, but a controllable level of colour too)
