I think it's better than if they did nothing, but it certainly is along the same thematic lines as making Chromatic Lantern the promo

As former Wizards WPN staff, this is accurate. There are many different teams spinning up all kinds of projects independent of each other, and I'm glad they're able to bring this one to game stores. We can still be sad at the loss of one program, but I don't think that should lessen other impacts.

When you pull funding for something as important as VML and pull space from MagicCons for BOP, it's a slap in the face. They dismantleded the actual comunity support. They destroyed an entire organization. If want to be allies, they need to act like it. This is a money grab.

Exactly. You don't get to bend the knee for the right and then pander to us afterwards by putting together a half hearted attempt at reeling us back in. You already made your bed at that point. I'd rather they did nothing because they'd at least be consistent.
