A major part of Trump’s reaction to Zelenskyy had to be the embarrassment of having sold this great show, not to the US, but to Putin and have it fail so spectacularly. He figured by putting him in a ‘bully circle’ he would have a big win and show Putin he’s an asset. Nice try. He always fails.
