Love that we have so many different dozens-of-charger options in California, that EA flagship in SF or SD (ours is outside, damn sun :P), ROVE (about to open three more in the LA area), etc. It's really sad to hear most of the country complain and see the west coast thriving at EU levels of DCFC.

Having just driven across the US, I can confirm that zero other states have the ubiquity of chargers that California does. I was able to drive from LA to outside San Jose without having to route-plan at all, knowing I'd have a charger whenever I wanted.

Not been true for any other state this trip.

I saw one testing near Hyundai's HQ in LA before it went on sale, I'll never forget that really rich amber color of the daytime running lights in the rear view mirror. Folks in the car will attest to me loosing it, I just couldn't believe how fresh it looked in real life!
