1) I definitely understand this thought. I think when it comes down to it, people either seek SM to deliberately catch up on recent events -- where they go right to the sources that they look at for updates, or they seek SM to escape all the craziness and are looking for creative/community content.

2) As an artist/creator, I feel it's important to persist giving people positive things to enjoy so that you can be a part of the good things in their world, because at the end of the day, life is far better enjoyed where art and creativity are leading factors of our happiness. Your words matter!

3) If something is a widespread issue that affects your audience/community, it's worth commenting on and supporting them through, absolutely. But beyond that, I think as long as you prioritize being a light in the darkness, it goes a long way with people in the long run. ❤️
