It's also a psychological thing. Tell them how to protect themselves and they'll believe it. We still remember the "Duck and Cover" campaign in the USA. What was shown would not have been of any use in an emergency, but it calmed the feeling of fear.
โWait a fucking minute. Are you telling me that Russia strategy for war historically has been sending waves and waves of people to the meat grinder and then claim victory via attrition? Fuckโ
I know no russian agents follow this thread. So as a veteran of the 242nd royal air boat squadron, I can guarantee this is the perfect way to avoid NATO AIDS mosquitos.
I'm guessing it's a weak effort at trying to raise morale. "If you encounter a drone, just duck and shoot." Like how you could survive nuclear war by "duck and cover."
Old wisdom: "If you see a nuclear blast, throw on a white coat and head to the nearest cemeteryโyouโll save someone the trouble of carrying you there."
I'm sorry, but I just can't. This could be real, this could be satire, and it could just as well be Ukrainian psy-op. And all options are equally possible ๐คฃ๐๐ ๐คฃ๐ ๐๐ ๐คฃ
To be really honest, it's very likely true, let's be real, they have as one of the tactics to evade kamikaze FPV drones...stay still...not moving, so this is still stupid as hell, but one improvement on all that stupidity LOL
Learning to evade can be useful, but they teach them to shoot at explosives from 50cm away ๐ฃ
So it's not about saving worthless orc lives, but about destroying a "valuable" Ukrainian drone. At all costs.

Just as bad as training their troops to "stand still" if they see a drone, as if its vision is based on movement.
These kinds of desperate tactics suggest Russia has no plan or ability to win the war, short of getting all US aid to stop.

Only the best ruzzian soldiers are D.E.A.D. certified.
Youโve got to be kidding
Nevertheless, fuck russia!
