Russian oil storage facilities at the oil transshipment point "Kavkazskaya" exploded again tonight. The facility is still on fire since it was attacked on the night of March 18-19.

You do know this is exactly what happened in the Piper Alpha disaster? Tartan and Claymore could see that Piper was consumed by fire but had orders not to shutdown until told to do so. Fortunately, we have moved on a bit since then.
My guess: its the reservoirs, not the line. Secondly, oil is thick and evenbin pressurized system moves very slowly (like 1m/s), so you can't easily move it elsewhere...
