The problem isn't palm oil. It's the corrupt Indonesian government taking backhanders from farmers to let them chop down areas of forest that are supposed to be protected. If no palm oil could be grown, they would do the same with sugar cane or something. Corruption is the problem, not palm oil.
Actually, organisations and experts concerned about the impacts of palm oil DON'T support a blanket boycott of palm oil.

Too little too late. I haven't purchased a single product from the Mondelez group in a long time. They destroy rainforests in Indonesia, endangering species for palm oil. This is a company without morals—and, of course, they actively support Russia's war on Ukraine.
