As a former biologist in Alaska i knew about this in 2006 (transplanted there in 03). Told my parents, they didn't believe me 🙄 and now my mom, seeing it on the news, says, "you told your dad and I about this and what a problem it is" it's so frustrating being a scientist!

I can imagine! I am so frustrated by the ignorance in this country and the world about the climate crisis that the media and the majority of people are ignoring. It's solvable if we decide to work on it, but electing ignorant, belligerent thugs does not help!
