Democratic socialism is where labor controls the means of production, but in autocracies, the government uses the ideal of socialism to control the means of production & the people fall victim to oligarchs & are oppressed by them.

when labor gets a vote in production. There would still be billionaires holding the reins of capital but they lose the right to openly exploit you. Dem-soc, soc, communism are just stepping stones to Anarchy.
