I believe the game is fine, but the community isn't welcoming at all unless you join a discord group or one that is beginner friendly that would teach you or help you.🥃
I also don't really like most competitive games. But that's mostly due to being a sore loser LOL
Most competetive-ish (mostly party) games like Mario Kart, Smash Bros., etc. that I play in my free time I'm usually among the better players in my friend group, but would be WAY too stressed to perform
I can totally relate, that's why I run a Minetest server that is completely customized with a gameplay that gives people the chance to do exactly that. So many people on my server just like to build, mine, and team up with friends to fend off their villages from monsters.
The only PvP games that I can play these days are the ones where you have a huge team. So that I'm just a blip that doesn't matter for the rest of the team if I mess up.
Nope, you're not. I don't play them either.
Hyper-competitive games like that always leave a bad taste in my mouth when I try them because apparently everything that goes wrong is my fault or whenever I make big plays so that my team can easily win they never capitalize on them 🫠
I played League for 8 years and play Valorant since release… I think at some point you become immune to toxicity and it does not reach you 😅😅 but yea, they are definitely not cosy games, its like being in a constant war with both enemy and your own team 😂
I used to get into competitive games until I got my first job a long time ago. After that, all I wanted was to chill and laugh while playing silly games with my friends (´◡`) I was too pooped to be a hardcore gamer. Btw, I was a sweaty Dota 2 player on the holy SEA server ( ꈨຶ ˙̫̮ ꈨຶ )
So true!!! Everyone i know who plays them agrees how toxic and annoying they are. So why put yourself through all that stress??? Like play a single player game or something if you want good gameplay lol
nope, staying off valorant and league is called being a human being who doesn't live in a basement (this is a joke I don't want to throw shade at people who play mobas, I just like making fun of the bad parts of the community)
I've played both , i still play valorant when im in the mood , but they are definitely two games with extremely big headed and toxic players. if you're a woman and dare talk in a val lobby you will most definitely get screamed at or harassed which really sucks 🥲
Nah, the communities are hot ass and the games are overly competitive. I know a lot of folks enjoy(?) them but, there's also a lot of folks that they aren't a good fit for.
I can't process half the shit that goes on in Valo (and as an FFXIV player that's fucking saying something) and I enjoy touching grass and kissing my girlfriend so i don't play league.
pvp ain’t for me, i’ve tried and although my friends say i’m okay at it i feel trash myself, i like either pve or farmin and buildin (with or without buddies)
I played for years, but the discrimination lawsuit made me quit really fast
I also thought they layed off a bunch of people for AI reasons but I cannot find info on this, so I may have dreamed it
~whispered as I crawl back into my cave of single player only games because I need to be able to pause at any moment to take care of screaming children~
Nah, MOBAs are garbage and the only team-based FPS I ever enjoyed was TF2 on the 2Fort2Furious server, where it was more of a group voice chat with an unserious game going on in the backgrouns
It's the community that ruins it for me ,the game is absolutely fine for what it is
Now I'm on an invite only basis since I can communicate and play better with a mic with my friend/lane partner
I'm really curious about thoses games and wants to play it, but understood that if I had to try, I should do so with experimented friends for moral support and guidance 👁👁💧
I’m big into valorant and cs but I get where your coming from, when I moved to pc from console I played unranked for soo long until I had the balls to go into comp😭it can be unpleasant to start but I’d recommend learning the game with a friend and eventually you’ll be the one mad at your teammates😌
You do play League of Legends, you just aren't aware of it. When you sleep, sleepwalking you downloads it onto your computer, logs into its account, grinds a few ranked games, and then deletes it before you wake up. It happens to everybody
Nome, never played and never will, competitive games aren't for me, i'd rather play a good solo of coop game
Borderlands and monster hunter being my favourites
No I never tried Valorant mostly due to not being the biggest fan of FPS like games. League though I had to quit cold turkey a few months ago because how toxic the community was.
I quit League years ago because I was simply unable to healthily balance my relationship with my enjoyment of the game, so I kicked it to the curb. Never played Valorant - I did enjoy Overwatch for a while but I'm too bad a shot for PvP FPS!
Do not worry, I don't play these games either. They're so boring and ... too addictive. It's not good. I think gacha games are better because at least there's a sense of progression and feeling powerful; moreover since they're usually single player you don't have to worry about too much competition.
I stopped anything PVP because I tend to jump between “I don’t do PVP, but when I do, I never lose” to “pls no fight, only friends 😢” So i’m just building my little town in minecraft
that is
a good thng !!!!
competitive games are kinda bullcrap at times and shit gets rly toxic
best steer clear of it but some ppl like it
usually i just mute ppl who annoy me but sometimes they'll troll and intentionally try to lose soooooooooo
Played League literally once and used to hop on Val one a month for week then stopped completely. Personally hate valorant its just not fun and league its meh for me.
I quit both mostly due to addictive tendencies... But I don't blame you for not playing or enjoying them. The games themselves I still find fun- but damn do the communities surrounding them suck with how toxic they can be.
Did play league cuz of my friends...I sucked plus I had little patience for the whole queue waiting and then the game itself took also really long😭 and I would probably play valorant but I'm a mac girlie soo... but dont feel left out cozy games are the best anyway🤭‼️
is there any tasks or any kind of goal oriented gameplay in tiny glade or is it purely like building only? I need dopamine from seeing things checked off LMAO
LOLOL workaholic brain itch hahaha but no it's sandbox hahaha it's just so satisfying like making art but admittedly I also just stopped without finishing my insane massive build cuz it doesn't push you
Have you tried one of the multiplayer backrooms games on Steam? I think one of them is pretty much just exploring liminal spaces with friends, no mobs or bosses or anything like that.
As someone who has played league since season 2 and quit like 5 years ago you made the right decision not to touch it. Games like that just ruin ur mental health at some point.
I’ve tried call once and it seemed fun enough. I was just using my brothers acc and he’s definitely far from a beginner so I just made it harder for myself LMAO
I tried both once. Didn’t like Valorant because I’ve never liked permadeath games/modes, and League was so boring I quit my first match before it finished.
nah, not playing competitive is better for your mental health! you're not obligated to play something just because it's popular and all your friends are doing it
No, I'm with you. I can't get into any game that drops you in maps and just wants you to do the same thing over and over again (Overwatch, dbd, extraction shooters, mobas, etc) I need to feel an evolution in gameplay or story rather than being in an endless virtual meat grinder with angry people.
back when I tried PvP it was mostly hackers completing the objective in seconds, attacking from underground or corpse/graveyard camping, or so overly geared anyone died from them sneezing.
there were a handful cases of good matches but not worth all the stress in-between.

It brought me immense joy to see my team and the enemy team rage.
im free from them ✨

Rising Storm 2, my beloved...
Borderlands and monster hunter being my favourites
then i got bored HAHHAH win or lose i just lost interest in pvp shooters 😭
No, my vice is
SEVERAL VARIOUS ROGUELIKES
Any sort of MOBA lingo just sounds like a completely different language to me.
I'm good
I don't care for Mobas or shooters.
Too many of my friends play both though 😔
Many expect you to be a prodigy and get upset when you lose. It's inevitable, but there is zero reason to blow up over it.
Some just don't know how to regulate their mood or feelings.🥃
do it only if you hate yourself

Think of it as a mix of stardew valley, terraria, factorio, Don't starve!

Nvm.

The only way to get those games on stream is to throw me a bag of money. And I’m talking big money. $20k for one stream.
