Planning ahead for things (or at least trying to) by use of calendars and reminders. And also keeping a written to-do list that I update semi-periodically as things get completed (if I'm feeling extra, I'll even categorize them by how long they'll take to do).
I don't know if this counts. Eat to live, not live to eat. Just eat the minimum to survive (proper food ofcourse), and once in a while eat whatever junk food/unhealthy food you want.
I don't drink a ton of soda anymore, very rarely. I drink flavoured sparkling water because it has the fizz and flavour so I don't feel like I'm missing soda.
Replace (most of) your rice intake with salad mix, if you're hungry after 10PM go drink water, push your heart for an extended amount of time, and listen to your local radio (because bubbles aren't great)
These are more than one but my days always feels great ever since i started doing these✨️
- Pilates every tues, thurs, sat (8-9am)
- Drink at least 2L of water per day
- Take regular stretches & break while working
- Vocally say 1 thing good about yourself at the start of everyday.
Always walking, actually doing all my dental hygiene (yes, flossing is necessary and there is a proper way to brush), and at least some other more intense exercise. Now I gotta work on a better diet 😭
I wash my hands for 30 seconds or more before and after I do something. Eating, working, gaming, going outside, etc.
My brain locks in when I do it. And when I don’t, I feel a bit weird and sick.
I realized that habitually drinking coffee at work was more about the act of absentmindedly drinking something and not really about the coffee, so I switched to water.
Have a specific time of day for snacks and try to only have snacks at those times. Ah, also make sure to have healthy snacks like fruits or have tea with your snacks
I think two things that I strictly maintain as a healthy habit:
1. Brushing teeth before going to bed (because teeth problems are awful)
2. Make bed and clean up my house (as necessarily) before going out - because I want my home to feel welcoming and energizes me when I get back
Morning walks in my front yard (人 •͈ᴗ•͈)
I have a cat and I usually let her outside in the morning
While she's playing, im walking around while keeping an eye on her!
Taking a nap after work so I can do more work refreshed 😂✨

But no actually- time management and allowing myself grace and breaks when I need it. Having good time management allows me wiggle room to do that without stressing over clients
Its pretty useful for the ADHD-i folks from personal experience, a 20 minute rest in a dark room for sensory reset is sometimes enough to get the brain going again from sludge mode
Since I can't do so at work, I go for the fallback of black coffee from the bitter kick and the caffeine there lmao
I drink a lot of water! I also try to get dressed most days including weekends because a bad habit I had when I was depressed was struggling to get out of bed. Wearing clothes is good!
have my notifs muted for group chats and all socials/messengers other than only one I use for work most and dont open work-related (full time job) emails and messages outside of working hours
i was on the gym grind til i broke my foot earlier this year (unrelated to gymming kek) and i desperately need to go back 💀
but i was doing cardio every day and i felt GREAT and i miss it
tbh i got scared into the gym bc i saw a chart depicting the exponential rate of muscle decay as you age - that definitely motivated me to start and it just became a habit afterwards haha

Like, wake up, sit in bed and meditate for as long as I can for that morning. Sometimes its just 5 minutes, other times it I can up to 30 minutes.

"You are Enough"
It may seem small and inconsequential, but that phrase carries a lot of weight. And yet, unpacks so much burden.
If you are enough for someone to love you, then you are enough to love yourself. ❤️
