two big ways companies save money is through the reduction in staffing and the reduction in regulatory oversight but both are essential for making things run properly. it’s important to realize that almost every negative experience with a business can be traced back to cost cutting.

the reason it’s important to understand this is because when we don’t understand things we seek explanations and sometimes that leads you to conspiracy theories, and the more we dive into those the farther we get from being able to actually understand and address the real causes of things.

Exactly. While they are doing this short term action, they are also accelerating the crisis point when those actions don't create profits anymore. Tendency of the rate of profit to fall.

100%!!! and every year they just try to ‘trim the fat’ more and more to maintain their profit increases while simultaneously creating a bigger and bigger problem
