The pandemic started 4 years ago. The economy has gotten significantly better in the past 2 years. Inflation lowered, wages rising, unemployment at its lowest level in 50 years, stock market booming.

The problem isn't the reality of life. It is their willful ignorance of who owns it and insistence on supporting those who keep doing it to them. Red states are the poorest performing in every metric that matters to these same voters but they keep doing the same thing then double down at prez.

2/3 of initiatives halted in 2022 or later after midterm House flip and persistent effort to block Biden agenda by red state AGs and RW SC. The bigger issue was implementing most these programs short term in response emergency and not protecting longer term under law.

I don’t think that’s accurate. The funding from congress was only was only for a certain amount/length of time. He was able to extend some things for a bit (loan repayment) but not many.

Immediate effects were profound. Most of the money went directly and quickly into local economies. Food, housing, meds but also haircuts, clubs and sports, school supplies.

Knock on effects if done over time we'll never realize. Edu stability, DV down, health improves and $ savings, so much more.

Question is, do you honestly thing that herr cheeto would put any of those protections back in place WITHOUT another pandemic? If he didn’t lose in 2020, he would have ended them himself. While many protections ended under Biden, you have to have the vision to see what Drumpf would have done too.

Of course, the extension of many of those programs were stopped by a combo of Republicans and Joe Manchin. Biden fought for them. Now they will get something else.
