I had such an extreme reaction of rage reading this article. He Who Must Not Be Named is now the chairman of the Kennedy Center? Really? Of all the insane, awful news I'm getting caught up with, I don't know why this just sets me totally over the edge. Deborah Rutter was fired this week after a decade as president of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
She says the center worked hard to expand its audience by broadening the programming, inviting "all manner of arts and artists to our stages. ... I pray that that can be sustained."
