That being said, if you participated or are making conscious choices about where shop/who you give your money to (as you are able to), that is a really good thing. Hope is a practice. Maybe as we work toward parallel systems, this will aid us in that.

The problem when I see these massive broad movements is that they just simply don't work. You need deliberate and direct action. Once you spread it too thin, it be becomes completely ineffective. This is one of those cases.

I know that there were several groups coalescing around this day, but the main guy/group are people I absolutely wouldn't associate with. He's collected 60K in donations and selling merch, as well as this....

I am not associated with any of the groups. It was easy not to buy anything yesterday because I was sick AF. But thanks for letting me know about the issues with that particular group.
