So I guess your argument is that he should just let all these newly unhoused people stay that way? Homelessness is a chronic problem; this wildfire is acute and his responsibility is to address both. He’s doing that even if not on your timeline.

LA Times just had a headline normalizing rent increases, and the region has the largest homeless problem in the country. If rents increase more people will become homeless even if their place was spared. Evictions are ongoing, not paused.
Not talking about housing regulation is dereliction of duty.
He is not addressing it, no matter how much y'all want to cover for him. And covering for a politician is weird.
It is scary to see so many economically comfortable people stan Newsom like his policies have not made fighting the fires harder, housing worse. Y'all love band-aids, I guess.
What disgusts me is that this shit is going on in every country in the western hemisphere. It's the poor's fault if he is in that situation and the rich is a victim of circumstances
