...but perhaps the biggest irony, is that last paragraph there: actually arguing that simply telling other people what they must do is the more sacrificial, while rejecting notions that something might be required of *you* (whether you want it or not) as somehow the less sacrificial.

this is a major problem the "prolife" movement has - it wants to say that a life is at stake, & so regardless of the cost, circumstances, sacrifice req'd, the mother is obligated to give birth.

YET at the same time is not willing to say that b/c a human life is at stake, society has obligations
