Key takeaway for me is that I will 99.999% be ok if I buy "cat 7" cable from Amazon for anything I plan to do in the next decade
(and if I ever had a switch that accepted the weird "official" plug then I'd be aware and shopping for it specially anyway)

If you need to interconnect, just use a Cat6A cable. The new switch ports are backward compatible with older 8P8C (RJ45 if you like) connector. The pokey-out bit on the GG45 tells the switch port it has the top pins
