While I appreciate the sentiment, we're also talking about someone who's largely avoided accountability & consequences his entire life & continues to acquire power & influence over more & more of our citizens. Now we have an autocratic nightmare that could've easily been prevented many times.
No. I will not sit idly by and wait while our public lands are pillaged; while our medical system is damaged beyond repair; while our next generation of scientists move to Europe setting us back 50 yrs; while women & children die; while trans children are marred; while our air & water are poisoned.
Only because democracy still stood. That died on 1/20/25. It’s a dictatorship now. No more free and fair elections ahead and no chance in hell he allows a dem to be seated.
That would be wonderful and it would mean that Canada and the US could be friends again for 50 years, but we'll always worry that you'll go hard MAGA again. There will always be doubt and suspicions of the US actions from now on. It sucks that it's like this.
