They're good. Definitely comparable to Copic in terms of quality. So far at least I haven't run into the gritty sheen problem that darker Copics tend to give me. I wish I understood why it happens.
I wish I could find the specific video, but there was an Amy Shulke vid that explained that Copic ink has resin in it, so that's where the shine comes from.
So I know this is COMICALLY late but I did stumble back across one of the videos I was thinking of, today. This is one that mentions the resin in marker ink.
Maybe one of these months I'll find the one talking about blending dark browns.
Yup this was the video I saw. Helped me understand the issue I was having. Crazy to think I’ve been using these markers for years and still learning new things about em.
Thank you! I mostly use the copic multiliners for the majority of my line work but I mix it up occasionally with microns, gel pens and prismacolor fine liners too.
Oh, hell yeah! Thanks, man! I would never use the drip method anyway (I took out the nib the few times I refilled one), but this video's full of other great info for keeping the markers alive longer, too! Bookmarked! Keeping my markers at 14.2 grams! ♥️💪

Do their darker colors have similar issues to Copics where multiple layers of dark browns get that sheen and stop blending well?
This isn't the video, but it does list browns as some of the staining inks. https://youtu.be/moc3CP3qgx0?si=HawcGCQd9uHXRrTJ

I'm hyped to try them out with more than ten colors, hahah!
