The very first issue EU has to address is to remove veto in its founding agreements. Secondly, how to kick out union members that don't implement the values of EU, then welcome Ukraina.
Twice the Norwegians were given the possibility to become a member (in 1972 and 1994) and twice they have refused it. Ukrainians are ready to become a member yet EU countries are trying to find reasons to refuse.
Not a citizen of the EU, but the Ukrainian people have been fighting for their freedom to be a democracy.
They have been defending Europe from Ruzzia in the process...
IMHO they have earned it.
