Bluesky has to up their video upload size/quality before that can work but taking back that easy API access throne that Twitter openly threw away would be huge.

Xbox and Sony both cited costs of the integration wewre simply too high and they could not sustain it anymore.

Specifically it was on the one talking about exclusivity for Twitter as the only "Microblogging" site or some other specific legal jargon that is for sites like Twitter and bluesky. Facebook and Instagram are something a bit different.

I don't know about the exclusivity deal, but a lot of companies put an end to their X Formerly Twitter integration once Elon announced that he was going to begin extorting them for up to $42,000/month.

Yes, the "share to Twitter" button was basically free advertising, and not just for smaller games that most people haven't heard of- even big games that sell millions feel like they fall out of cultural relevance faster than before because it's now more annoying to post screenshots/clips of them
