corporations aren't going to preserve or make available culture. pirate everything and teach others to do so. The time for hemming and hawing about it has passed. https://bsky.app/profile/toonhive.bsky.social/post/3lkis7tysqc2j

The entirety of ‘Looney Tunes’ has been removed from Max.

There's even a documentary with some shots in HD and Quark has never looked so greasy
Also companies: We're removing this particular show/movie for tax reasons and we're still going to crack down on piracy even though that's become the only way to watch said show/movie that we just nuked from existence.
also here’s where to watch classic Looney Tunes now (aside from 🏴☠️), thank you @cnschedules.bsky.social -
(also MeTV airs Bugs Bunny and Friends at 9am ET / 8am CT)
Like, it's not even a NEW thing. How many old TV series episodes no longer exist because the companies that held the singular copy overwrote them because "eh, I don't want to spend 25 cents on a new VHS tape."
It was a smaller company, Ketchup Entertainment, that bought the rights. Hence the much smaller release window of a week in theaters (near me) & nonexistent marketing
