I donated to the Sally Ann Red Kettle campaign in person on the w/e, same as with any other charity I give to. I've never sent money in the mail except to the hospice in Red Deer where my brother died in almost 3 years ago.

I will say these wages don’t seem fair me. $28/hr is only $56K a year. $19/hr is only $38K a year. That seems awfully low for government employees. Even $38/hr is only $72K a year as a maximum.

I’ve been without my medications for a week because the postal strike spillover has halted courier services. The UofA told me there are dozens of patients in this boat. Rural communities don’t have full service pharmacies and rely on big cities to ship medications to us.

As mail recipients we need to accept change in services. Everyone moves to boxes not home delivery. Mail in urban area 3xWk. Separate plans for urban and rural.
Union needs to stop saying they don’t have a living wage, no one believes them.
Soon Canada Post will save enough in wages to end this.
