I always assumed it was because Obama wanted Garland for the Supreme Court, but McConnell wouldn’t allow the vote, remember? If Garland was good enough for the Supreme Court, you’d think he’d have made a great AG. But maybe deciding cases was more aligned with his talents than prosecuting them. 🤷🏻♀️
