Literally there's a massively upvoted post on the Severance forum at the moment complaining about season 2 because it doesn't follow a particular formula and is instead breaking that formula's rules.

Right? I am so confused every time I see people acting like Season 2 was better - Season 2 had its merits but it spent so much time lingering over things that became non-issues, like the murder investigation that just gets deus ex machina'd in the end.
