You can't tell the story of 1960s-1980s baseball without talking about Pete Rose, so yes, his inclusion in museums is appropriate. It's the veneration that is totally unwarranted here.

It's just unfortunate that distinction tends to get lost most of the time. We can include him in the story of baseball at Cooperstown without inducting him into the hall.
(I have a tough time being objective here, since my dad's a lifelong Reds fan and I grew up in a house with a Pete Rose shrine).
