Worth knowing that if you are set up for export, you will have two mpan numbers and it's not clear which is for import and which is for export. One needs to infer that from the data, but that should be pretty simple.

The export MPAN should be the inverse of the import, no? So, if the import is always a positive number then the export is always a negative?

I was expecting both to be in one feed, with one giving negative values and the other positive, but that's not the case.
Accessed through the R pkg, they both give positive values under the 'consumption' column. Don't know what you'd get direct from the API.

Ah, not helpful.

So, is there a identifying copy for each meter, like home address? The lower of the two is the export...maybe?

Certainly the lower on the page was the export for me, but really, it's quite clear from monthly data which is export and which is import 😁
