I read a post by @hadihariri.com a few years ago that places me firmly in the "no tabs" camp. Highly recommend trying that. 😁

personally I'm a fan of my tabs being wrapped to multiple lines in VS Code

but I'm also kinda messy and at times they grow pretty big, leaving the coding window smaller and smaller 😂

You want to learn the minimim of keyboard shortcuts. It will save you a lot of time, and most of all a lot of thinking.

The default tab behavior in VS Code drives me crazy. I like using tabs, but by default, you can’t use ^Tab or ^⇧Tab to cycle through them in order, like in a browser. And to enable such a basic feature, you have to edit the keybindings file 🤯

This is the one thing I miss after switching from VS Code to PHP Storm. The Open Editors pane is so valuable. I also hate tabs, to I was using it constantly.
