As much as I admire President Carter he didn’t appoint Ruth Ginsburg to the Supreme Court she was appointed by President Clinton in August of 1993.
Carter reshaped the face of state government, appointing more women and Black Georgians to state office within the executive and judicial branches than his predecessors combined. He continued this as president when appointing federal judges like Phyllis Kravitch, Horace Ward and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
